Play Pipe Connect free online. Rotate pipe tiles so water flows from the source to every outlet. Four board sizes, wrap-around expert mode and a daily puzzle.
Pipe Connect tips and strategy
- Start at the edges. A pipe end pointing off the board is always wrong, unless the board wraps.
- Corner tiles have only one or two ways to sit. Fix them early.
- Straight pipes along an edge must run along it.
- Outlets are dead ends. Each one connects to exactly one neighbor.
- Watch the blue water. Tiles connected to the source fill as you go, so you can see your progress.
- On wrap-around boards, imagine the board repeating in every direction.
About Pipe Connect
Pipe Connect is a relaxing plumbing puzzle. Water waits at the source in the middle of the board, and pipe pieces are scattered around it, turned the wrong way. Rotate the tiles until every pipe lines up into one network with no leaking ends, and water reaches every outlet.
Each board is built from a random tree of connections, then every tile is spun to a random angle. That means there is always a way to join everything, and since a tree has no loops, each pipe has a clear job. Puzzles of this kind have been around since early computer games and are still a favorite quick logic workout.
Choose from four sizes. Easy boards are 5 by 5 and can be done in a minute, while hard boards are 9 by 9. Expert boards wrap around, so a pipe leaving the right edge comes back on the left. When everything connects, water rushes out from the source and fills the network.
Pipe Connect FAQ
How do I win Pipe Connect?
Rotate tiles until every pipe connects to its neighbors with no open ends and water reaches every tile from the source.
Is there always a solution?
Yes. Each puzzle is made by building a complete network first and then scrambling the rotations.
What does wrap-around mean?
On expert boards, pipes that leave one edge continue on the opposite edge, like the board is drawn on a loop.
How is my score measured?
By time. The number of turns is shown as well, and the daily puzzle records both.
Why are some pipes gray instead of blue?
Gray pipes are not yet joined to the source. As soon as a pipe lines up with the network, water flows into it and it turns blue.
