How to play Tower Jumper
Goal
Keep bouncing upward on ledges and reach the greatest height before you fall.
- 1Your jumper bounces automatically whenever it lands on a ledge.
- 2Steer left and right to land on the next ledge above you.
- 3Walk off one side of the screen to appear on the other side.
- 4Springs launch you extra high. Cracked brown ledges crumble, and blue ledges move.
- 5Stomp the purple gloops from above, but do not bump into them. Falling off the bottom ends the run.
On a computer
Left and Right arrows or A and D to steer. P or Esc pauses.
On a phone
Hold the left or right half of the screen to steer, or turn on tilt steering.
Play Tower Jumper free online, a Doodle Jump-style endless climber. Bounce on ledges, launch off springs, dodge crumbling steps and climb as high as you can.
Tower Jumper tips and strategy
- Do not over steer. Small taps keep you centered over a ledge better than holding a direction.
- Use the wrap around. If the next ledge is far to one side, going the other way is often shorter.
- Treat brown ledges as decoration. They never bounce you, so always look for a green or blue ledge too.
- Springs are a great escape when the ledges above look sparse.
- Only land on a gloop when you are falling onto its head. Hitting it from the side or below ends the run.
- Watch moving ledges for a full cycle before committing when the gap is wide.
About Tower Jumper
Tower Jumper is an endless climbing game about a small green creature with an unstoppable bounce. It springs off every ledge it lands on, and your only job is to steer it left and right so it keeps finding the next ledge above. The higher you climb, the further apart the ledges get and the more tricks the tower throws at you.
Green ledges are solid. Blue ledges slide side to side, so you have to time your landing. Brown ledges are cracked and crumble the moment you touch them. Springs fling you high into the air, and purple gloops float in the gaps waiting to knock you down unless you stomp them from above. The screen wraps around too, so running off one side brings you back on the other.
Your score is the height you reach, measured in meters and marked on the notebook paper background every 100 meters. Steer with the arrow keys on a computer, by holding either half of the screen on a phone, or with optional tilt steering if your device supports it.
Tower Jumper FAQ
Is Tower Jumper like Doodle Jump?
It is a similar style of endless bouncing climber with its own art and ledge types. It is free to play in your browser.
How do I steer on a phone?
Hold the left half of the screen to move left and the right half to move right. You can also switch on tilt steering under the game.
Why does tilt steering ask for permission?
Some phones, including iPhones, require you to allow motion sensor access before a web page can read the tilt of the device.
What ends the game?
Falling off the bottom of the screen or bumping into a gloop from the side or below.
Is there a daily challenge?
Yes. The daily tower is the same for every player that day, and your best height is kept while you retry.
