How to play Bubble Shooter

Goal

Pop bubbles by matching three or more of the same color before the pile reaches the line at the bottom.

  1. 1Aim the launcher. The dotted guide shows the path, including wall bounces.
  2. 2Shoot to land your bubble next to two or more of the same color to pop the group.
  3. 3Bubbles left hanging with nothing above them fall for bonus points.
  4. 4Swap your bubble with the next one when a different color fits better.
  5. 5Every few shots the ceiling comes down. Do not let the bubbles cross the line.

On a computer

Move the mouse to aim and click to shoot. Arrow keys aim, Space shoots, Down or X swaps.

On a phone

Drag to aim and release to shoot. Tap the small bubble to swap.

Bubble Shooter tips and strategy

  • Aim for drops, not just pops. Cutting a big cluster loose scores far more than popping a few bubbles.
  • Use the walls. A bank shot can slip a bubble behind a group that blocks a direct shot.
  • Swap your bubble when the next one fits better. Holding a color for later is often the smartest move.
  • Count the shots left before the ceiling drops, shown as dots next to the launcher.
  • Clear the lowest bubbles first when the pile gets close to the line.
  • On Hard there are six colors, so keep a few open spots where any color can go.

About Bubble Shooter

Bubble Shooter is a color matching arcade game. A wall of colored bubbles hangs from the top of the screen, and you fire one bubble at a time from the launcher below. Land it next to two or more bubbles of the same color and the whole group pops. Any bubbles left hanging with nothing holding them up fall away for bonus points.

The board is a honeycomb grid, so each bubble touches up to six neighbors. A dotted aim guide shows exactly where your shot will travel, including bounces off the side walls, which lets you bank shots into gaps you cannot reach directly. Every few shots the ceiling drops one row, so the pressure builds the longer you take.

Choose Levels mode to clear a series of boards that grow taller each time, or Endless mode where new rows keep arriving from the top. Every bubble color also has its own symbol, so the game stays easy to read for color blind players. It runs free in your browser with drag to aim on phones and mouse or keyboard on a computer.

How do falling bubbles score?

Each popped bubble is worth 10 points. Each bubble that falls because it lost its support is worth 20, and big drops of six or more score double.

What is the difference between Levels and Endless?

In Levels you clear a fixed board to move on, and the ceiling slowly lowers. In Endless a new row slides in from the top every few shots and the game goes on until the bubbles reach the line.

How do I swap bubbles?

Tap or click the small bubble beside the launcher, or press Down or X on a keyboard.

When does the game end?

The game ends when any bubble crosses the dashed line near the launcher.
