Snake tips and strategy
- Stay near the edges early on and keep the middle open for when you are long.
- Move in wide, regular loops instead of sharp zigzags. It keeps your tail out of the way.
- Do not chase food blindly. Make sure you will have an escape route after you eat it.
- Remember the tail moves forward each step, so the square your tail is leaving is safe to enter.
- The snake speeds up as it grows. Plan your turns a little earlier at higher scores.
- On phones, short, firm swipes on the board work better than long drags.
