Jigsaw Puzzle tips and strategy
- Do the border first. Turn on Edges only to hide the middle pieces.
- Sort by color: sky, water and ground usually split the picture into clear bands.
- Look at the tabs. A piece with two tabs on opposite sides only fits between two blanks.
- Build small groups in the tray, then move them onto the board in one go.
- Turn on the ghost image when you are unsure where a group belongs.
- Use Scatter to spread out the pile if pieces end up stacked on each other.
About Jigsaw Puzzle
Jigsaw Puzzle brings the classic tabletop pastime to your browser. Choose 12, 24, 48 or 96 pieces, then drag them from the scattered pile onto the board. Pieces have real tabs and blanks, they snap into place when you get close, and neighbors that match lock together so you can move whole sections at once.
Every picture is painted by code the moment you start: mountain lakes at dusk, city skylines at night, ocean sunsets, flower meadows, coral reefs, northern lights, hot air balloons, desert dunes and colorful geometric mosaics. The colors and details change with every new game, so you will rarely see the same picture twice. Nothing is downloaded, which keeps the game fast on phones.
Jigsaws are a good way to unwind. They reward patience and a careful eye for color and shape rather than speed, although the timer is there if you want a challenge. The daily puzzle gives everyone the same 48-piece picture each day.
