About Letter Hive
Letter Hive is a word building puzzle with seven letters arranged in a honeycomb. Make as many words as you can using only those letters. Every word must be at least four letters long and must use the gold center letter. Letters can be reused.
Each puzzle has at least one pangram, a word that uses all seven letters, worth a 7 point bonus. Four letter words score 1 point and longer words score 1 point per letter. Letter Hive tips and strategy
- Start with common endings that fit the letters, like ING, ED, ER or S if those letters are in the hive.
- Hunt for the pangram early. Look for long word endings and prefixes like RE or UN.
- Reuse letters. Words like LULL or TEETH are allowed when the letters are in the hive.
- Use Shuffle when you stall. A new arrangement often reveals new words.
- Build families of words from one root, such as PLAN, PLANT, PLANTED and PLANTER.
- Remember every word needs the center letter. Check that first if a word is rejected.
